Our facilities
We have a number of diverse and creative facilities each with their own unique ( SEMH) environment
to encourage young people to engage in their learning.
L2L Focus Building
The L2L Focus Building is a learning centre in Winton Banks with spacious classrooms for YP to engage in academic and structured sessions in a calm and welcoming environment.
L2L Cafe Classroom
The L2L Cafe Classroom in Southbourne has a small art room, library/classroom and an outdoor garden space. The main community cafe area is used for cooking, baking and making healthy smoothies and shakes so the YP can learn and practice the fundamental skills of preparing and cooking healthy meals on a budget.
L2L Beach Hut
The L2L beach hut located in Bournemouth West is a great location for water sports activities in the summer months including paddle boarding, body boarding and surfing. It is used as a classroom for the colder months and a great space to sit and reflect or practice some yoga and mindfulness.
The Discovery Den
The Discovery Den at Hengistbury Head is a calming outdoor learning space where YP can learn alongside nature. The undercover learning space/classroom provides a great learning environment and protection from the weather. The grounds of the site are set up and fully equipped to use fire pits and learn bush craft skills. `
The pond is a haven for nature and great for pond dipping in the spring.
Nick's Farm
L2L have a small plot at Nick's Community Farm in Throop that YP can use to grow their own vegetables and create outdoor projects i.e. bird boxes and bug houses. The YP can help with the farming activities and learn about the animals and their environment. The petting area with rabbits and guinea pigs is a calming environment for the YP and thefarm staff are all very helpful
and on hand to answer any questions.
